Upcoming Changes to the Club Leveling System
Over the past period, you’ve shared your feedback on the club system with us through several surveys. We’ve also spoken to club owners and members to better understand their experience and what could be improved.
Based on your feedback, we’ll soon begin the first phase of improvements to the club level system.
What’s Changing?
Instant Promotions Starting Next Week!
- Starting next week, your club will no longer need to wait until the end of the cycle to level up.
- As soon as your club meets the requirements for the next level, it will be promoted instantly and gain access to the benefits of the new level right away.
- A club can also be promoted by more than one level during the same cycle.
What isn’t changing?
- Demotions will remain unchanged and will only happen at the end of the cycle.
A Unified Two-Week Cycle
We’re also working on standardizing level cycles to two weeks for all levels, which is already the current cycle length for Level 3 and Level 5 clubs.
This change will roll out in phases:
- Level 1 & Level 2: Starting first
- Level 4: Gradual rollout (you’ll receive an in-app notification when it reaches your club)
- Level 5: No changes in this phase
And This Is Only the First Phase
This is just the beginning of a series of changes coming to the club system.
In the upcoming phases, look forward to:
More rewards, bigger achievements, and new goals to work toward together with your club!
Frequently Asked Questions
Promotions
When do instant promotions begin?
Starting next week. As soon as your club meets the requirements for the next level, it will be promoted immediately without having to wait until the end of the cycle.
Can a club be promoted by more than one level during the same cycle?
Yes. A club can be promoted by more than one level during the same cycle. Each time it meets the requirements for the next level, it will be promoted immediately.
Does a new cycle start, or does the current cycle get extended, when a club is promoted?
No. A promotion does not start a new cycle or extend the current one. The club remains in the same cycle until its scheduled end date.
Are demotions instant too?
No. Demotions will continue to happen only at the end of the cycle, just as they do today.
Level Cycles
Have the level requirements changed?
No. The requirements for each level remain unchanged during this phase. These changes only affect the timing of promotions and the length of the cycle.
How long will a club cycle be?
Once the change reaches your club, the cycle will last two weeks.
When will Level 4 clubs move to a two-week cycle?
The change will roll out to Level 4 clubs gradually, and you’ll be notified through the app when the new cycle length takes effect for your club.
We’re in a Level 4 club. Will maintaining our level become harder with a shorter cycle?
The requirements themselves have not changed in this phase, but the Level 4 cycle will become shorter than it is today.
Level 4 requirements will be recalibrated in the next phase of changes to better fit the new cycle length.
I’m in a Level 5 club. Will these changes affect us?
No. Level 5 clubs already operate on a two-week cycle, so nothing will change for them during this phase.
