Domino is a game that includes 28 tiles, and played by 2 or 4 players in partnership/teams or individually.
The goal of the game is to get rid of the tiles, and the game ends when one of the players reaches 100 points or more.
Tiles and suits
Dominoes consists of 28 tiles, with a line dividing each tile’s face into two square ends, each end has a number from none up to six.
There are only 7 tiles with the same pips-value on each end, and it’s called a “double”.
The target in game will be to place tiles in a line according to the number of pips on them, the player places the tiles that match in value on top of each other.
Game play (2 players)
The game starts and a player is picked randomly to shuffle the tiles, each player draws 7 tiles randomly from the stock, the remaining 14 tiles are kept on the side as tiles stock and are used later for drawing.
The first round starts, the player who has the highest “double” tile starts first - if found, if none of the players had a double tile, then the first player is chosen randomly, and in the following rounds, whoever wins a round starts first in the next one.
Each player has the right to play one tile in his/her turn, if a player is unable to place a valid tile, they must continue drawing tiles from the stock until they are able to place a tile.
Scoring
The objective in dominoes is to finish placing all the tiles, when a player has emptied their hand tiles the round ends and they are considered the winner. The score consists of the total pip count of the losing player's hands.
The game ends when one of the players wins the game by reaching 100 points or more.
Dominoes for Four
In the beginning of the game each player gets 7 tiles, which means that there is no stock.
The player with the 6-6 tile always starts the game, then the turn shifts counter clockwise.
If a player is unable to place a valid tile the turn passes to the next player.
The round ends when a player has emptied their hand tiles, and they are considered the winner, here; the total pip count of the losing players hands is added to their score.
The game ends when one of the players wins the game by reaching 100 points or more.
