Mor Rules

Mor Rules

The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible by getting rid of all your team’s cards.

You do this by placing combinations called melds, which can be:

  • Sequences (same suit, in order)
  • Sets (same value)

You win the round when you finish your cards and meet the project requirements.

Setup & Dealing

The game uses:

  • 2 decks (104 cards)
  • 2 Jokers only
  • Each player gets 11 cards
  • The player to the dealer’s right gets 12 cards and starts the game
  • Play goes counterclockwise

After dealing:

  • Two extra piles of 11 cards each are placed aside
  • These are called Mor (100 each) or 200 total

If a team finishes their initial 11 cards, they can take a Mor pile and continue playing without needing a project first.

To finish the round after taking Mor, the team must have:

  • A 300-point project, OR
  • A 100 + 200 project

Each team can take Mor only once* ** If one team takes a Mor pile, the other pile is for the opponent.
