OONO Rules

OONO is a card game designed for 2-4 players, with the goal of being the first player to get rid of all their cards. The game utilizes a complete set of OONO cards (108 cards in total).

Cards and Distribution

- Number Cards: The game includes number cards (0-9) in different colors: red, yellow, blue, and green.

- Action Cards: These cards come in various colors, each associated with a specific action:

- Reverse Card: Changes the direction of play from left to right or vice versa. In a two-player game, this card skips the other player's turn.

- Draw 2 Card: Forces the next player to draw two cards from the deck. Skips their turn, moving to the player after them.

- Skip Card: Allows the player to skip the next player's turn. The turn moves to the player after the skipped one.

- Wild Card: Enables the player to choose the color to be played next.

- Wild Draw 4 Card: Similar to the Wild Card but also forces the next player to draw four cards.

For card distribution, the dealer is chosen randomly, and each player is dealt 7 cards. The remaining cards are placed face-down on the left as the draw pile, and the top card is placed face-up in the center, forming the discard pile or "fire”.

How to Play

The player sitting to the left of the dealer starts by throwing any card into the fire, provided that this card:

- Matches the color of the last card of any value.

- Matches the value of the last card of any color.

The turn passes between players clockwise, and if any player does not have a card that matches the color or value of the last card in the fire, they must draw from the deck.

OONO

OONO is the word a player says when they have two cards left and choose to play one, placing it in the discard pile. Here, the player must say OONO to warn the other players before playing their second-to-last card. If a player fails to announce OONO and is caught by the other players, they are penalized by drawing two cards from the deck. This situation is known as the "OONO Challenge”.

Scoring

The player who finishes their cards first is the winner of the round and earns 0 points. Points are calculated based on the remaining cards in the hands of the other players. The lower the total points a player has, the higher their rank at the end of the round.

Points are scored in OONO as follows:

- Number cards = the value of the card itself.

- Draw two = 20 points.

- Skip card = 20 points.

- Reverse card = 20 points.

- Wild Card = 50 points.

- Draw four = 50 points.
